Happy Father’s Day to all fathers. We love you guys so much and thank you for all you do for us. Today I’m doing a tag post and tagging a couple of friends.

Here’s to my dad!

A time your dad made you cry

One time as a child, he flogged me for something I didn’t do. I was quite heady as a child but Oga didn’t seem to realize that that is one of the most powerful traits I got from him.

So on this day, my sister told him that I had slapped her and this wasn’t true. He just flogged me. He didn’t ask me if I touched her.

I think I hated him for two whole days and doubted if he was my father for a whole weekπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

A time your dad made you laugh

Every time he dances, I laugh. He is just bad at it. Very bad.

Your dad’s job

My dad is a lecturer and an Anglican priest. Dude studied mechanical engineering though.

House chore that your dad usually takes up

Anything yard cleaning is my dad’s work. Clearing grasses and stuff like that, we leave for my dad.

A time your dad made you proud

Every time people hear my name and guess who my father is, especially in Anglican circles, I am so proud of him. He has built a reputation of integrity that even his enemies cannot deny.

I don’t have a onetime experience. It is an everyday thing.

A trait you took from your dad that you like

I don’t kowtow to anybody if I know what is right. I’m proud and I don’t like to put myself in a situation where I lose myself or self worth because I’m dependent on somebody.

A trait you took from your dad that you don’t like

My dad is terrible at keeping in touch with his friends. That’s all I’m going to say.

A body gesture you took from your dad

When I walk or stroll, I like to put my hands behind my back. Also, when I’m lying down or sleeping sometimes, I like to put one leg up. It’s funny to look at but my dad does it all the time.

A dressing style you took from your dad

I like baggy trousers!!! My dad’s trousers are always too big, lol. I don’t know if I got it from him though.

A funny picture of Pops

This is what you get when you say, ‘Daddy smile na!’πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

A throwback picture of you and Pops

You can guess my mum took these pictures by how she almost cut me outπŸ˜’

Something your dad stopped doing that you wish he didn’t stop

The beards fam! My dad was the ultimate beard gang chairman. One day it all came off. I understood why he did it later on, but mehn!!! Those beards were πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Also, he used to take random pictures of us as kids doing every and anything. I can’t remember when last he did that.

What about your dad makes you laugh the most?

His dancing steps. I’ve never seen anything more hilarious!

Something about your dad that you find endearing

The way he picks up on some of our (his children) habits. Like calling the rams he rears by the names we give them. Imagine my very serious dad refering to a ram as Vanilla or Manilla Jr.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Finally, a Father’s day message to your dad!

Daddy!!!

Thank you for everything!

I love you so much!

I’m proud to be your daughter and I hope I make you equally proud to be my dad.

Happy Father’s Day!!!πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

My dad looked and sounded so proud on my Call Day. Each time in my seat, I would look up at my parents and I could see how proud they were that day and how in awe they were of the ceremony. As much as I don’t fancy law plenty, in that moment I was super proud to be one.

This is a tag post so I’m tagging the following people to do this Father’s day post irrespective of the type of blogs they run.

Titi at Entertainment and the Law

Uloma at My Rape Story

Pelumi at MojolaOluwa’s Blog

Taisah at Taisah’s Diary

Durotimi at Durotimi’s Blog

Please feel free to do this Father’s Day tag post and link up!

God bless!!!
