I like my coffee sweet, my tea cold.
I like my guys short, their beards long.
I like my chocolate milky, my cake hot.
I like my bed warm when I get to it, cold when I get in it.

I hate to take long walks that leave me sweaty
I hate to lie in bed and miss out on parties.
I hate it when the radio is on as I do my chores
I hate the way my room smells after I’ve just cleaned it

I love short movies that end abruptly.
I love the feel of onions in my mouth.
I love the 9-5 that extends to 6. Or 7.
I love the bumps and potholes on the roads I travel.

The challenge was to write a poem about myself in which nothing is true.

Write your own poem and link up.
