What some come to law school for…

If Aisha was anything like her Urhobo roommate, she would think any boy who smiled at her had sinister intentions. Ok, not sinster but intentions to ask her out, lead her on or reel her in like a bass, into a trap of lies that was a part of every player. Aisha was not like that. She knew guys were manipulative. She loved love and she was a hopeless romantic but she had learnt to process situations with the mind of a manipulative femme fatale.

Her roommate on the other hand seemed to be living in a romantic eutopia where everybody was supposed to have good intentions and think like human beings were supposed to. Anyway, that one was gist for another day.

Right now, the koko was that the most powerful student in school was being friendly with her. Funny thing was, he was also Urhobo. While her roommate would have started thinking that he was giving signals that he was interested in her personally, Aisha was not that naive. She was thinking of the small power she would wield if she could have certain members of the Student’s Cabinet in her pocket. And the uncle that was getting friendly was key.

He had asked her to hang out with him on the weekend. Perfect. She just hoped that she would have time to take advantage of that opportunity. She was not sure what she wanted for a career yet but it wouldn’t hurt to make some potentially powerful friends in the mean time.

Today is my Sister’s birthday! Yeah, we have two June babies. Her name is Rejoice and very soon some of her writing should be showing up here.

That’s Rejoice. I think the name fits.

Have a great day y’all. Lots of yellow love!
