Papa Ejima 2

Bola knew the dress she had on was short by Law School standards but she was running out of clothes. Vanessa had said her skirts were tight and she knew that she had added some serious weight in the past few months. Right now she had only one acceptable skirt. The other three were almost useless.

Her three dresses were in some state. The two that were well sown were short and the one that was long was not well sown. That’s how she had come to law school and was worrying about clothes.

Today, as Papa Ejima stopped her, she slumped her shoulders. She really hated this. It was embarrssing and she hated embarrasment. He told her to go back and she turned to go.

Justine’s should have been open so she went in to see if she could get her change from yesterday. Justine’s was the small snack shop behind class. There was a gate there that led to class but it was usually shut.

Well, well… Bola smiled at herself as she went into Justine’s. Nobody was there but the back door was open. Amen.
